It is valued for…

Among all the eucalyptus species (globulus, citriodora…) it is the only one recommended for children, as it is devoid of all toxicity, safe to use and gentle on the skin.

All respiratory diseases, whether they are viral (cold, flu) or bacterial (bronchitis, sinusitis, otitis…)
Productive coughs

To inhale
* Spray in the air, in the house or the office, especially in case of epidemics (“winter diseases”).
* Perform dry inhalations (a few neat drops on a handkerchief) or wet (a few drops in a bowl of boiling water). Inhale for 10 minutes.

To apply :
Rub on the chest, the upper back, the solar plexus and the nape of the neck with 5 drops of narrow-leaved peppermint diluted in 5 drops of vegetable oil (macadamia or sweet almond, if possible).

Other useful indications
Cutaneous infections (infected acne, wounds that do not heal, lesions that that cannot be cleaned properly…).

Apply - 1 to 2 neat drops on the affected area of skin.

A high temperature can be reduced by taking a foot bath; pour 10 drops of narrow-leaved peppermint, diluted in 1 tsp of bath base or milk, into hot water.

Like all essential oils, narrow-leaved peppermint oil is forbidden during the first 3 months of pregnancy. It should not be used during breastfeeding either.
On the other hand, it is remarkably well tolerated by children, including babies.
