33 COMPLEMENTARY ESSENTIAL OILS TO FIGHT AGAINST ALL SKIN INJURIES : AN EFFECTIVENESS PROVEN BY 4 STUDIES IN VITRO


The first study tested the burn healing effect of the product (first-degree burn).
The observation period lasted 7 days. Puressentiel® Boo-boo Bumps Gel with 33 essential oils induced a very significant healing effect on the burns as soon as day 2, very significant on day 4, and almost maximal on day 7.
Compared with a witness group, this effect proves the total effectiveness of this product.



The second study tested the wound healing effect of the product cut corresponding to a superficial wound.
The observation period lasted 7 days. Puressentiel® Boo-boo Bumps Gel with 33 essential oils induced a very significant healing effect on a superficial wound as soon as day 2, and maximal on day 5.
Compared with a witness group, this effect proves the total effectiveness of this product.



The third study tested the anti-inflammatory effect of the product on inflamed skin.
The observation period lasted 7 hours. Puressentiel® Boo-boo Bumps Gel with 33 essential oils induced a very significant anti-inflammatory effect characterised by a 50% edema reduction as soon as 3 hours after application and almost maximal after 6 hours.
Compared with a witness group, this effect proves the total effectiveness of this product.


The fourth study tested the antiseptic, bactericide and fungicide effects of the product, and was verified by using an aromatogram.
This study in vitro was conducted on strains of :
Bacteries : Escherichia Coli, Staphylococcus Aureus, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa
Fungus : Candida Albicans
Mildew : Aspergillus Niger
These strains, which are frequently involved in secondary infections of damaged skin, came from the Institut Pasteur de Paris.
The various inoculum were autoclaved, prepared and exposed to the Puressentiel® Boo-boo Bumps Gel with 33 essential oils according to the current microbiological techniques .
