1 STUDY ON THE ACARIFUGE AND ACARICIDAL EFFECT


Synthesis of the study of the acarifuge and/or acaricidal effect in dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (most commonly encountered mites strain in Europe).

To determine the acarifuge and/or acaricidal effectiveness of the cleansing spray with 41essential oils, an in vitro study was conducted on a strain of dermatophagoides pteronyssinus mites living in carpets and bedding.


CONCLUSION:

The Puressentiel purifying spray with 41 essential oils demonstrated :
Its acarifuge action after 30 minutes, the group of mites having migrated.
A total acaricidal effect was demonstrated from two hours (though no mortality was observed during this study with the control product)
This effect is considered as very strong by the person in charge of the study.

2 STUDY ON THE BACTERICIDAL AND FUNGICIDAL EFFECT

The PURESSENTIEL® purifying spray with 41 essential oils was the object of a microbiological study on 4 strains of bacteria and 3 strains of fungus and mould, all supplied by the Pasteur Institute in Paris. Readings of minimal inhibitory activity were taken 1, 2 and 4 hours following exposure to the product.

After 2 hours, a bactericidal and fungicidal effect was observed on all the strains studied and was complete after 4 hours.

3 STUDY ON QUALITY OF LIFE


Quality of internal air and quality of sleep demonstrated in 88% of subjects with PURESSENTIEL® spray.

This study was carried out with 30 volunteers (18 women and 12 men) presenting with bad sleep quality, breathing difficulties and symptoms linked to stress. They sprayed the product in their rooms at bedtime, every night for 21 days.

On average, 88% of volunteers saw a significant improvement in their symptoms after 21 days of use.

We note therefore, with this study, that disturbances and quality of sleep, respiratory symptoms and anxiety on waking are constantly improved by using the PURESSENTIEL® purifying spray in the evening.

This effectiveness is obtained with an excellent tolerance, since 97% of volunteers experienced no clinical sign of intolerance. This tolerance is justified by the fact that the essential oils contained in the PURESSENTIEL® spray perfectly meet the safety criteria in atmospheric diffusion.
