main indications

This is the essential oil for rheumatism and rheumatic pain.
It relieves all kinds of pain, especially those of an inflammatory nature (arthritis, gout, neuritis, polyarthritis, sciatica).

Apply locally, 3 drops mixed with 10 drops of vegetable oil.

Bath - Dilute 10 drops of juniper in 1 tbsp of bath base or milk, pour in a bathtub filled with very hot water and indulge yourself in this painkiller bath for 20 minutes minimum, adding hot water when it gets cold. You can also take a hand bath if the pain is in your fingers.

Other useful indications
Water retention, swollen legs, cellulite (especially with oedemas).

To apply - Dilute 4 drops of juniper in 1 tsp of grape seed oil and massage firmly (deeply) into the affected areas, always from bottom to top (from the ankles to the thighs). For the arms, start from the wrists, moving up towards the shoulders. The aim is to go in the same direction as the venous return.

Bath - You can also soak in a slimming bath. Mix 10 drops of juniper in 1 tbsp of vegetable oil, bath base or milk, pour into hot water and benefit from your aquatic break by massaging under water the areas to be treated.

You will of course have heard of juniper berries, from which the essential oil is extracted. They are the little black balls that are added to choucroute (sauerkraute) as a flavouring! There is nothing stops you flavouring certain dishes, especially choucroute, with 2 drops of juniper (combine them previously with the white wine used to cook the choucroute). Unusual and delicious!

This essential oil is forbidden during the first 3 months of pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is also not recommended for renal disease sufferers.
